| 产品描述 | ARG80495 Human IGF1 ELISA Kit is suitable for the quantification of IGF-I in human serum and plasma (EDTA, heparin). Due to the high cross reactivity with IGF-I from other mammalian species, it can also be used as a assay for determination of IGF-I in primates, cattle, pig, sheep, horse, donkey, goat, dog, cat, rabbit and guinea pig, however for rat, mouse and chicken derived samples the kit is not suited. |

| 生物功能 | The insulin-like growth factors, isolated from plasma, are structurally and functionally related to insulin but have a much higher growth-promoting activity. May be a physiological regulator of [1-14C]-2-deoxy-D-glucose (2DG) transport and glycogen synthesis in osteoblasts. Stimulates glucose transport in rat bone-derived osteoblastic (PyMS) cells and is effective at much lower concentrations than insulin, not only regarding glycogen and DNA synthesis but also with regard to enhancing glucose uptake.
